Who am I in Jesus?
Our identity is something that we think of when people ask us who we are, or what sort of person we are. That identity can make us feel good or bad about ourselves; it can box us in to certain courses of action; through it people see us in a particular way.
Jesus has given us a new identity. The amazing thing about this new identity is that it is so much bigger than we would have thought possible. It is not something that traps us, but something that is so big we can spend our whole lives growing into the implications of it.! This identity is not just one small snap shot, it has a whole host of different angles to it. The mix of these different angles can be incredibly liberating, if we are able to grasp them and live out the implications of them. All this needs faith in Jesus, the one who loves us, to live out this identity by His strength.
